Our Story

Officially the fastest growing City in Canada, Warman has grown by over 55% in the past 5 years! What has fueled this growth? Quite simply, it’s because Warman feel’s like home! The City prides itself on being able to provide services and amenities that foster a strong and cohesive community, providing residents and visitors that feeling of home. Amenities such as our abundant amount of park space – 202 acres to be exact, our premiere 18-hole “Legends Golf Course,” and our award winning Legends Centre which houses our 1100 seat arena, are major draws for visitors and provide significant benefits to our residents. From a service standpoint, our administration is proud to provide some of the highest levels of service in the province, including spring/fall alleyway cleanups and 72 hour roadway snow removal service.

Business is also booming in Warman, with a year-over-year increase of close to 20% from 2016 – 2017. This information is based on business license data, which saw an increase of close to 100 business licensed to do business with and in Warman in 2017. Our City offers a number of advantages for business compared to the surrounding area including:

  • Access to a robust transportation network that includes rail in both the East-West and North South Directions, ease off access to Highway 11 – the largest in the province, and a short 20 minute drive to the Saskatoon International Airport.

  • A growing community with a higher than average combined household income in excess of $110,000. (Average age of a Warman resident is 32.4)

  • The most competitive and business friendly tax environment, with the lowest Municipal Tax Gap according to the CFIB* and a competitive tax abatement program, offering new businesses up to 5 years tax free!

  • The physical infrastructure and land availability in 3 distinct commercial districts: Central Street “Central Commercial District”, Centennial Boulevard our “Primary Commercial District” and our recently added South Industrial Business park, or “Commercial Industrial District.” Each of these distinct commercial areas permit a wide range of uses to easily accommodate your business use!
